Alice Through The Looking Glass Movie Inspired Planner Charm

Hi planner friends, Tammy here with a really fun planner charm tutorial featuring the new printable from my friend, Laura Bray. When she released this new printable in her Etsy store, I knew I was going to have to make something for my planner inspired by the new Alice Through The Looking Glass movie. I found a really pretty tassel at Michael's, so I decided to make this planner charm with it. It was so easy to make, you can make one for your planner also!

Harlequin cardstock
Purple and white polkadot cardstock
Black bottle cap pendant
1/8" Hole punch
Lobster clasp
Split rings
Butterfly charm
Blue tassel from Michaels
Glitter epoxy
Photo paper
1" punch
3/4" punch

Print out the Alphabet Printable from Laura Bray Stationery on photo paper. I started with the 8x10 version and downsized it on my printer to a wallet size photo.

Cut out the initial you would like to use for your planner charm.

Run the pieces through a Xyron machine to create stickers.

Add some color to the pieces with markers and then stack the pieces on top of each other on the bottle cap. To protect the image, you can add a round epoxy sticker on top.

Add the tassel and butterfly charm with a split ring to the bottom of the bottle cap. If your bottle cap doesn't have a hole, use a 1/8" hole punch to make a hole.

Attach a split ring and lobster clasp to the top of the bottle cap. If you use a Happy Planner, you will also need to add a ball chain ring to attach the planner charm to.

I love how my planner charm turned out! I also can't wait to see the movie! I hope this gives you some ideas on how to use the printables from Laura Bray Stationery. If you make a planner charm I would love to see it!

Fiesta "Plan With Me With Freebies" For The Week Of May 1-7

Happy Monday everyone! Don't miss the fun tutorial I did for the Sabor Papel blog last #fiestafriday!  The Sabor Papel Ole' collection papers are so fun to work with, they always put a smile on my face.

Supplies I used:
Ole' collection papers from SantanaCrafts.com
Free Fiesta printable
I am creating recipe cards by printing my favorite recipes on clear label paper and cutting the recipe out and adhering it to the cute Recuerdos cards
I plan on using The Happy Planner photo insert pages to keep the recipes I'm using for the week in my planner for easy menu planning.
Next week I will show you the cute recipe box I created to store all of my recipes I'm not currently using for the week.
In addition to the photos, I have also prepared a "plan with me" video so you can watch my process! Just click on the video below and you can decorate with me...
