Easy Planner Clip Storage Tutorial

I love to make accessories for my planner. If you have seen my tutorials on how to make these cute planner clips, then you probably need somewhere to store them. I like this storage idea because I can still see all of my planner clips and I can hang them on the wall.

Supplies needed:
Proxxon Delta Sander
Frame with chicken wire inside
Chalkboard paint and paint brush
Adtech Glue Gun
Adtech Glue sticks
Decorative paper flowers
Rhinestone stickers
Planner clips (learn how to make them here)

First step is to sand the frame and make it smooth and ready for paint.

Paint the frame with chalkboard paint

Use a hot glue gun to add trim around the inside of the frame and paper flowers around the top corners.

Add some rhinestone trim around the frame

And that is it! I really love how it turned out and I can't wait to add all of my planner clips, and keep them out where I can see them all.

How To Create Monthly Square Boxes For The Happy Planner Using A Silhouette Cameo Cutting Machine

Hi all of my planner girls! Today I am bringing you a tutorial on how to create stickers for your planners using your Silhouette Cameo machine. I found a cute free digital paper collection from The Girl Creative that is perfect for my March planner printable!

How to create your stickers:
Download images from the Silhouette Design Store or any free digital paper or images you like. Open your Silhouette software and create a new 8.5x11 file.
Insert your registration lines!
Click on file then open and click on the image you want to bring into the file.
Once the file is on the page, size it down to the size you want your sticker to be by dragging the corner of the image.
Next click on the trace link on the top right of the software and click on select trace area. Drag a box the size of the image you want to trace. Next uncheck the high pass filter and drag the arrow on the threshhold until the box is filled like shown below. Then click on trace outer edge.
You will need to adjust the size of the red box to fit the image you want to cut out. Once it fits, drag a box around the two images and group them together.
keep doing the same thing for all of the different types of images you want to add to your file.

Once you have all of the images ready to go, save the file! Then you can print and cut your file and add your cute stickers to your planner :) Whoo hoo!

Plan With Me With Freebies 3/7-3/13

Hi everyone! Today I am using a free printable from www.MyPlannerEnvy.com  for my planner layout for the week of March 7th. I think these fairytale themed stickers are so cute and so easy to use since everything is color coordinated.

The Silhouette Cameo cutting file is included with the download, so I cut my stickers out of photo paper and use a Xyron machine to make them stickers. You can also use label paper but I like to use the photo paper for a sharper image.
To see how I decorated my planner, please watch my plan with me video below

How To Make Photo Stickers For Your Happy Planner Using Your Silhouette Cameo

Hey everyone! Tammy here today with an easy tutorial on how to make photo planner stickers for your Happy Planner! I am using the Silhouette Designer software but you can do this with the regular Silhouette software you can download for free from their website. As you can see, I am a very visual person and I like to have as many photos in my planner as possible. I have a crafty friend that I get together with every couple of weeks and I like to add her photo on the day we are meeting to remind me. Plus, I always use a current photo, so it's my way of memory keeping also.

Supplies you need for this project:
Silhouette Cameo
Full sheet label paper
Planner of your choice (I use a Happy Planner)
Photo
Insert the photo you want to use into your Silhouette software and re-size to under 1.5 inches square.

Highlight the photo using the trace feature and then choose trace outer edge. It will put a red cutting box around the photo. Then you drag a box across both the red box and image and click "object" on the top bar and "group". This combines the image and the cutting box so you can drag it into place in the top left corner inside of the registration lines. To add the registration lines you click on the image 6th from the right on the top bar and choose the Silhouette Cameo option or option 1.

To create multiple images to print and cut out you just click on the "object" option on the top bar again and click "replicate" and then "fill page". Then you can print the file and send it to your Silhouette for cutting :)

DIY How To Make Super Cute Planner Page Clips Featuring Sabor Amor Cardstock Cutouts!

Hey everyone! Tammy here today with a tutorial on how to use the Sabor Amor Cutouts to make really cute Planner Page Clips! I am so excited to be a part of the Sabor Papel Design Team! I really love the Sabor Amor paper and I love creating new things for my planner with it every week. There are a ton of Etsy shops that sell planner clips and they are pretty pricey, but with just a few supplies you can make your own :) Here's how!
Supplies:
Paper clips
3D Foam Squares by ThermOWeb
Deco Foil  by ThermOWeb
Glue Pen
Embellishments of your choice
Tulle

How I made them:
First I added a line of glue around the area on the cutout that I wanted to place foil on...
I let it dry for about 5 minutes or until tacky and then I placed the foil on top and rubbed it a little to make sure it stayed on.

Then I placed a 3D foam adhesive square on the front of the clip with tulle wrapped around it...

I placed the cutout on top and look how cute it is! And so easy to make :)

I also added some glue and foil to the back of one of the other clips...
I also added foil to the middle of one of the cutouts, and tulle with a crystal heart to the bottom of another one
For the middle clip in this photo, I wrapped ribbon through the paper clip and added a 3D foam square and added the small cutout on top.

I really love how these turned out, I hope it motivates you to try making some planner clips today with the Sabor Papel Amor Cutouts!
