Welcome to the Kunin Felt blog hop with Designer Crafts Connection. Kunin Felt recycles billions of water bottles every year that would otherwise be in the landfills and makes them into a product which becomes felt. 12 bottles equals 1 lb of fabric. The felt is weather resistant and fade proof, great for outdoor
decor. You can even line your garden beds or patio with it, weed free! Today I am using Kunin felt to create a cute Fall planner band for my travelers notebook planner.
Supplies I used:
9" x 12" craft cuts of Classicfelt in White, Prickly Purple and Pumpkin Spice
Black leather for planner band base
Sizzix Movers and Shapers Flower Die and Bracelet Band Die
Sizzix BIGkick
Pearl rivets
Rivet setting tool
Elastic
How I made it:
1. Cut felt into flower shapes with Sizzix BIGkick and flower dies.
3. Stack felt into flowers of your liking. Add rivets to the centers of the flowers, with the rivet setting tool, and attach them to the planner band.
4. Slide on to the spine of your TN planner for a cute decoration.
That's it! Super simple and so cute for the Fall season! I hope this tutorial has given you some fun ideas on how to decorate your planner with Kunin Felt :)
